For those flying -OR- If purchasing this as a GIFT CERTIFICATE - Please take note that BY LAW we must inform you that military aircraft are built and tested to different standards than that put forward by the Civil Aviation Safety Administration (CASA) or any equivalent international civil aviation governing body. 

 

As such, in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulation Parts 132.140, 150 and 132.155. The design, manufacture and airworthiness of the aircraft are not required to meet the same standard recognised by CASA.

 

The passenger agrees to participate in this flight at his or her own risk.

 

A more detailed briefing will be provided to the passenger before they board the aircraft.

Adventure Flight Options

Standard Warbird Adventure Flight       (20 min) - $449

The standard warbird flight will introduce you to the world of adventure flights. You will begin with low level flying which will take you over the Brokenback Range and the Vineyards in the Hunter Valley, then followed by a simulated bombing run on a dam. This flight includes some basic aerobatics such as a roll and a loop. Sequences can be tailored on the day to suit.

Advanced Warbird Adventure Flight     (25 min) - $529

The advanced adventure flight includes everything in the standard warbird flight plus you will get to experience a full aerobatic display of loops, rolls, a barrel roll, a Cuban eight and a four point hesitation roll.

  • Scenic views of the Hunter Valley

  • Low flying through the Brokenback Ranges

  • Mock bombing attack

  • Basic aerobatics icluding loop, barrel roll, stall turn

  • Advanced aerobatics including 4-point hesitation rolls, cuban 8, porteous loop, slow roll, verticle roll - or substitute this for more scenic time over the wineries

 

 

Advanced Warbird Adventure Flight with Coastal Recce (45 Min)- $549

Enjoy a low level recce out to the coast where you can enjoy the scenery and we may even spot some whales. On the way back build the excitement up with a full aerobatic display of loops, rolls, a barrel roll, a Cuban eight and a four point hesitation roll.

  • Full Pre-Flight Mission and Safety Briefing

  • Scenic views of the Hunter Valley

  • Reconnaissance mission over the Newcastle area coast line.

  • Mock photo run of a coastal target.

  • Basic aerobatics over the Hunter Valley icluding loop, barrel roll, stall turn

  • Advanced aerobatics including 4-point hesitation rolls, cuban 8, porteous loop, slow roll, verticle roll - or substitute this for more scenic time over the wineries

 

 

The times listed are time airborne and do not include engine start and/or taxi.

Formation and Aerial Tail Chase for 2 people (30 min) $1099 for both aircraft

The formation flight will show you the various formation positions while you can enjoy the views over the Hunter Valley Vineyards. The formation positions include line astern, line abreast and echelon left and right. You will also get to experience the thrill of a low level tail chase through the Brokenback Range followed by a simulated bombing run on a dam.

Then enjoy a high level return to base with a formation “initial and pitch” back at the airfield.

 

*A minimum of 2 aircraft with 1 passenger per aircraft.
